Our goal is to raise $15, 000 to go toward this trip. We’re counting down the days, and every dollar counts!

A breakdown of our budget:

$8,000- purchase of a diesel vehicle that will get us 10,000 miles around the country ( check!)

$2,300- fuel and maintenance on the road

$200- insurance

$2,000- food (at 10/day/per/100 days)

$1,000- camp lodging

$1,500- technology

…$10 will feed Dana for a day

…$20 will feed our car for a day (we’re getting 42 miles to the gallon!)

…$50 will buy us extra fuel filters to we can successfully and cleanly run with alternative fuels in our car

…$500 will cover our insurance
